I'm looking for my great grandfather, Joseph F. Rose, b. abt 1848 in Portugal. He married Flora Vargas but I don't know if that was after they both came here separately or if they came already married. Nor do I know if they came with their parents or on their own. Their children are:
Joseph Rose b. about 1877
Manuel Sylvan Rose b. 13 Jul 1878 Mission San Jose, CA
Mary Rose b. about 1879
Georg A. Rose b. about 1889
This is all the information I have been able to find on any of them. My grandfather is Manuel Sylvan Rose and I do have the information on his children.
Any help will be appreciated.
