My husbands grandparents which we have their death cert. is John Henry Rose born Nov. 18, 1882 Pennsylvania and died Aug. 27, 1954 in San Mateo California. Which we know where he is buried. But on the death cert. his fathers name is Joseph K. Rose born in Pennsylvania and mother unknown. We are trying to find information on Joseph which would be my husbands Great Grandfather. We have run into a road block can't find anything. I have checked social security death wesite which I have found other family members of mine. Getting stuck with the Rose family. My husbands father always said he was from Pottsville but I have tried everyhting. We aren't on talking terms with his dad so can't get information from him and one of my husbands Uncles which is his fathers brother says he doesn't rmember anything and we think he just doesn't want to help us. If anyone has any information please contact me.
