My grandfather (Dodd) once wrote to me saying that he attended the Falling Waters Presbyterian church. His father's name was Maurice Ropp Dodd. His grandparents were Samuel Dodd and Sarah Ropp (b. 1851). I doubt any of this helps you any, but if you were able to pass on what information you have concerning the Ropps in that cemetery, I would be quite delighted. Also, I know this is asking alot, if you had any info on Dodd's in that cemetery, I'd be grateful for that as well.

Elsewhere my grandfather does write, "Ropp lost hold of farm in a poker game. Edwin Dodd bought it back - 100 years later." But I assume he was refering to Maurice Ropp Dodd and Edwin would be his nephew (son of his brother: David Rollin Dodd).
