Does anyone have any Biographical on this person; I know he was Teddy's grandfather; and that His grandfather is the earliest european ancestor I have in the US; Cornelis Aertsen VanSchaick; who has become somewhat an icon for me since I discovered my connection to his line; while the Roosevelt's are not a direct in my ancestry; he is a line I am strongly interested in; and especially Cornelis VanSchaick Roosevelt. I realize for my Ancestor's Daughter to marry into the Roosevelt's; he would have to be a person of good (wealthy) standing in the NY community.........
