>All you have is the acquiescence of family >members AFTER the death of cousin President Franklin >Roosevelt. The U.S.A. investigation here started in 1920's so BEFORE FDR's death. Even today there are Ro(o)sevelts on both sides of the ocean. >Also, I find it a shame that all of the biographies & >histories written about my 3-famous cousins in discussing >their ancestry selectively fails to mention THE ORIGINAL- >genealogical knowledge of near HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND-- >said Morgan's biography is the only exception. Why would that be you think. [Instead, it is the Tholen, Zeeland-business that is propigated. What the biographers & historians needed to have done instead would have been to present BOTH the ORIGINAL family tradition of coming from near HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND, and then its being supplanted by the Tholen, Zeeland-business in the "chronicle"-format as I had did in my first "Chronicle Research American Roosevelt Family's Cradle in HOLLAND"-entry from information I had & from information you supplied showing the development from THE ORIGINAL near HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND, and how it developed to be down in Oud-Vossemeer, Tholen, Zeeland, in the south of HOLLAND. This would proved the public with the whole story, letting the public weigh the evidence and decide for themselves whether HAARLEM or Vossemeer. I have weighed the evidence and I concur with FDR. You and many of my contemporary cousins apparently concur with Vossemeer. And here we have the "mexican-stand-off". ] If I get (some copies of records)of a (small) family Ro(o)sevelt in Haarlem, I will place them on my site, as part of my Dutch Ro(o)sevelts.
