"C.W. Boogaart": a p.s. to my posting of yesterday. We
American Roosevelts have a ROOSEVELT-cousin living in
Florida who is a Messianic Jewish RABBI. His name is Kyle
Moline. It is his mother's-side of his family who are
ROOSEVELTS. And both his mother & maternal grandmother
state we ROOSEVELTS are JEWISH whose family "ORAL TRADITION/
NARRATIVE" records that we ROOSEVELTS fled SPAIN the CATHOLIC CHURCH for being JEWS practicing JUDAISM yet
accepting JESUS {YESHUA] as the MESSIAH and sought asylum
by going to safety in HOLLAND. It is in NORTH HOLLAND
that the predominance of the SEPHARDIC/MARRANO-population
is found [Amsterdam-HAARLEM-and surrounding environs].
This correlates with "both" with THE ORIGINAL-genealogical
knowledge of the family possessed by the HYDE PARK ROOSEVELTS the ROOSEVELT FAMILY "ORAL TRADITION/NARRATVE"
that we American Roosevelts ame from somewhere near
HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND, and the statement by FDR's old
friend Gov. Chase S. Osborn enumerated by Osborn from
sources contained in Osborn's 7,000-book personal library.
In weighing the evidence, I find the weight of the
American Roosevelt family's "ORAL TRADITION", cousin
RABBI Kyle, and the statements by cousin FDR & Gov. Chase
S. Osborn more valid evidence then that evidence which
you have presented. Even our coat-of-arms with the
3-ostrich plumed crest & a rosebush [rosales] for the
shield that our MARRANO-immigrant ancestor CLAES brought
with him is a NORTH HOLLAND armorial bearing and is quite
different in design from any of the Roosevelt coats-of-arms of Zeeland. Hoffman whose article in the 1933-edition of
the New York Genealogical & Biographical Record even admits
this glaring difference in his attempt at trying to reconcile the HOLLAND-cradle of the American Roosevelts
with the Tholen, Zeeland-business.
Also, just because the "paper-trail" documentation has
CLAES leaving a South Holland-port for New Amsterdam
does not in itself disprove THE ORIGINAL-genealogical
knowledge of the American Roosevelts THAT WE CAME FROM SOMEWHERE NEAR HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND. CLAES, as a MARRANO,
would have moved around a lot seeking safety. Too, his
wife & the mother of his children, Jannetje Samuels Tomas,
is given as born in Zeeland. BUT, that in itself does not
mean or disprove that he & the Roosevelts came not from
near HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND, any more than Theodore, Sr.,
marrying the Bulloch of Georia mean or disprove that
Theodore, Sr., & the Roosevelts came from New York.
As well, there is some source a Mr. Fox had access to
from a holding of a Roosevelt Library out of New York
that records my 7th-great grandmother ANNA MARGARIET
ROOSEVELT as being born in GELDERLAND, HOLLAND, in
1643. All this just records that CLAES moved around alot.
It does not disprove that the Roosevelts did not come
from near HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND. At least I have an
ORIGINAL family "ORAL TRADITION" to go on. You have even less because there has never be any "paper-trail" documentation nor is there an American Roosevelt family
"oral tradition/narrative" recording any connection
whatsoever to the Roosevelts of Zeeland.
an N.B.: the lack of finding "paper-trail" documentation
that you are seeking for the NORTH HOLLAND-connection is
very confirming & indicitive that we are of a SEPHARDIC/
MARRANO-origin. Again, I refer you to the sources I
enumerated yesterday suggesting you read. Taken wholistically, THE ORIGINAL-genealogical knowledge of
the American Roosevelts that we come from somewhere near
HAARLEM, NORTH HOLLAND, is correct. And the Tholen,
Zeeland-business is "revisionist" & incorrect. Respectfully, Gregory Thompson, a ROOSEVELT-descendant,
my 7th-great grandmother is ANNA MARGARIET ROOSEVELT m.
Heyman Aldertse Roosa the JEW my 7th-great grandfather,
she is the daughter of our MARRANO-immigrant ancestor
CLAES MARTENSZEN van ROSENVELT/ROSENFELT from HOLLAND.
