I was surprised when I found out the amount of information and photos in the books of this "juvenile" series. I recently purchased a vanity book on the "Devin" family which didn't nearly have this much info. It seemed natural that it would make an excellent addition to any descentant. Wish that had made one for my family.:)
I do have at least one (I do think there is another one, which should turn up after I unpack from moving my office) more book on the Roosevelt's, which will be coming up on auction, this next week. I have to read them first in order to write valid descriptions, but they seem very interesting. One is Eleanor and Franklin by Joseph P. Lash. It contains a Christmas card to "Grandmother" from David and Murray. The way it is presented, I wonder if she weren't a direct descendant of FDR. There is also a very nice family tree on the end pages.
I'm looking forward to see what this book contains.
