Trying to confirm that Mariah Rosa, born 7 Nov. 1793 in Schenectady County, NY, was the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Peek) Rosa. Mariah named her first son Richard Rosa Quackenbush and her second daughter Nancy. I have seen some references that Richard and Nancy (Peek) Rosa had a daughter Maria possibly baptized in 1793 but can't find the exact reference.
Mariah Rosa married Barent W. (Barney) Quackenbush on 15 Sep. 1810 and had 11 children. I can track all of them except for Amanda Eliza Quackenbush who was born 8 Mar. 1823. Mariah and Barney spent most of their life farming near Albion, Oswego County, NY, Mariah dying in 1863 and Barney in 1867.
Barney's sister Catharine Quackenbush married a John J. Rosa born about 1765, perhaps a brother to Richard Rosa.
