details to follow but Jacob Rosa was a cathiolic priest, who taught in Niagara University (which I believe is in New York, USA). His neice, Mary Catherine Rosa (Tryon)was my grandmother. They all lived in the Niagara Falls, Ontario area. His obit, which I only have part of, states his ancestors came over on the ship the Spotted Cow, from Amsterdam. Apparently there has been a lot of research done on the Roosa, Rosa, Van Roosen family, but my need is to link this side of my family to the ships descendents. Mary Catherine Rosa (who was a widow), married Vernon Lorne Robinson, my grandfather. Will add (Rosa) siblings and parents very soon to this site. If this short info rings any bells, I'm sure listening. Cheers everyone
