WINCHESTER - Margaret A. Roosa, 91, of Winchester died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at Passavant Hospital Transitional Care Unit in Jacksonville.
She was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Plainfield, the daughter of Frank and Nettie Mae Latchaw Firestein. She married George E. Roosa in 1935 in Plainfield; he died in 2000.
Mrs. Roosa and her husband owned and operated Roosa's Cafe in Winchester from 1943-76. She was a member of First Christian Church in Winchester and formerly served as a Brownie Scout Leader for several years.
Survivors: two daughters, Georgia (husband, Albert) Wilson of Lynnville and Karol (husband, Edward) Brown of Winchester; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 p.m. Friday, Gillham-Buchanan Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial: Winchester City Cemetery.
