Elizabeth md. Jacobus Masten not a Roosa (William?)

At the Kingston Reformed Church 27 Sep 1786, Jacobus Masten jm of Kingston married Elisabet Roosa, born Schoharie, liv Kingston. On 18 Feb 1787, they baptized daughter Elizabeth also at the Kingston Church with the sponsors Willem Roos and Elizabeth Schoolcraft. The sponsors were clearly her parents - Elizabeth was baptized 24 Mar 1768 at St. Pauls Luth. Church in Schoharie to this couple. Willem was a German born 1736 in Prussia.
Question - since Elizabeth was in Kingston with her parents in 1787, why isn't the William Roos who married Annatje Wolfen that same year (9 Dec) in the same church her brother, baptized 25 Apr 1762 also at St. Pauls, Schoharie? The younger William apparently died in Shandaken in 1829 at 65 years. The year is off by 2, but the month is right.
