Many thanks Cindy,

With your info and citation I now have what you could call "triangulation." The 1850 census for Scio Twp. MI says that my great, great grandmother was forty-five years old, placing her birth year at about 1805. As cited by Priscilla Tremper Leith, a transcription of Marbletown DRC records by Jean Worden has the dates of birth and baptism in 1805 that you've listed. I guess the LDS was right this time.

The difference is that I now have a way of connecting great, great grandmother to the rest of the Roosa clan.

Thanks again, Dick
