Joseph, I wonder if I might also be able to view your Roop info on Ancestry.com. I believe I am descended from John/Johannes Rupp who settled in Earl Twp, Lanc Co, PA.
I believe that line that stayed in Lancaster Co was as follows:
John Rupp died about 1783 in Earl Twp, (brother of Christian)
son Christian (1764-1851) of Salisbury Twp m Barbara Kurtz
Johannes Rup (1804-1859) m Barbara 1st and then Elizabeth 2nd. He's listed as John Roop in census.
Abraham Roop (1833-1908) m Susanna Hurst. He was born in Salisbury Twp, died in Colerain Twp
I'd like to verify how this line connects with other Roop lines.
