I searched the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds are increasingly sparse B4 1840, rare B4 1800.
For Margaret Rooney B 1833-1850 in this entire database, I found 101 B rcds. Focusing on Co. Antrim, which includes Belfast, I found 3 B rcds: 1834, 1839, & 1847. One of these MAY be for your ancestor. You can try different search ranges if you have better information. In any case, you will need a parent name, placename, etc., to validate the correct rcd.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Pls post your results to my genforum msg.
