Hi Chris,
Do you know if Charlotte had any brothers? I too am researching Rooke family from Yorkshire England. I just don't know what area of Yorkshire it was. My greatgreat grandfather Henry Rooke was born there. I have decendents from him and notice that his first child was named George born in 1870, this child only lived a few days. I just was wondering if the first child named George could have been after the grandfather.Henry had several daughters and one more son named Henry, who was my great grandfather.
Any help would be appreciated.
