My Rooke family came from Barrow-in-Furness in (the then) Lancashire. My father was William Edward Rooke borne in Barrow in 1898. His father was Walter Edward Rooke who was a Master Draper in Barrow at the time my father was borne. I do not know yet when and where he was borne.
