My gg grandmother, Charlotte Foster (1813-1894), was from Wickersley in Yorkshire. She was the daughter of John Foster (1780-1863) and Charlotte Rooke (1785-1832). I would be interested to hear if anyone has information on the Rooke family.

Charlotte was the daughter of George Rooke (1743-1807), who was born in Parish of St. Clement and died in Wiltshire. George was married to Mary Marriott.

George's parents were Henry R. Rooke and Margaret Cook.

I'd love to exchange information if anyone has knowledge of the Rooke family from these regions.
