Can anyone verify who the parents of Hannah Ellen Roof, born 11 March 1856 and married to James Theophilus Fowler on 22 March 1876 in Parker's Landing, Armstrong county, Pennsylvania were. I have been told that her father's name was Jacob Roof and her mother was Nancy Price.
The 1860 census from Cowanshannock, Armstrong, Pennsylvania shows her as 4 years old, with head of household as Nancy Roof-widowed.
