My Great Grandfather was Martin Roof of Hardin Co, KY. He was the son of Nicolas A. Roof.
Nicolas A. Roof had 8 children. They were Martin, Daniel, John R., Elizabeth (born 1828), Nicolas (b.1830),Ruby, Eliza, and Cyntha E.
Martin is buried in Mound Olives Cemetery, in Custer County, OK. He and his children migrated to Oklahoma when Indian territory was opened to settlement. John Roof, son of Martin, was my grandfather and made the Oklahoma Run and was father of 13 children, the youngest of whom was my father, Oca Edwin Roof.
I do not know where Nicolas or Elizabeth are buried, nor any of the others.
