Through talking with Johnny Mac Roney's Daughter, I found out that she has records to possibly show the following:

I am starting with
Hugh Roney (South AL) his dad was -- 1830's time period
Maurice Roney (SC/NC,Rowen Co.) who's dad was -- Time Period During Revolutionary War - 1790's
James the III Roney (NC)who's dad was--somtime during 1700's
James the II Roney (NC)who's dad was--sometime during 1700's
James the I Roney (VA) came into Richmond Co. in about 1678 from Carlow, Ireland area.

Does anyone have any information about the Roney's listed above. I hope to visit lovely SC, NC, and VA to try and find any information about these Roney's that I can. I know that this will be difficult due to the many many years that have passed since they have lived.
