G'day

I was born in Peebles Scotland in 1948.Left school at 17 to join BP as a cadet Marine Engineer.Left deep sea with Chief Engineers Stean & Diesel Certificate and emigrated to Oz in 1980. Now staying in Western Australia and working in the States major power station. In 2001 I counted < 40 'Roneys' in the Scottish telephone White Pages. We moved in 1980 to Collie a small rural country town in WA where there was nearly as many Roney's there than in Scotland!
