I'm looking for information on John Roney who was born about 1836 in Ohio. In 1865 he married Samantha Jane Rolston in Knox Co., O.. The couple appears to have remained in Knox Co. until after the 1880 census. They are then said to have moved to Iowa. I would like to know John's parentage.
