These were my grandmothers sister and her husband, they got married in 1896 at Holy Redeemer in Detroit, Michigan and were married until Elizabeths death in 1924 at age 46. from stomach cancer. Alfred's parents were Henry Roney and 2nd wife Mary Dignan-Roney. He was born in Canada in 18774. Frontenac, Ontario, Canada. Garden Island. this was the 2nd family of kids for Henry. any relatives from today back would be greatly appreciated. I know Alfred and Elizabeth had a Daughter Gladys, ome that looks like it was spelled Onleia on the 1920 census , but the spelling was Raney not Roney on Fort street East. also a son James who for the 1930 census was shown to be a widower at age 27. think its his daughter Mary L. living with Alfred and 2nd wife Nora in Dearborn. Elizabeth is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery on Dix in Detroit. along with a premature baby that died, do not know what sex. and looks like their oldest daughter Viola H. who died in 1909. buried there also. do not know when Alfred died.?? still alive in 1930 census with 2nd wife Nora.
