According to Marion County 1880 census in Prospect Township: Catherine Romoser was married to a George Romoser, he was 48 and she was 44 at the time of this census. Their daughters at the time were: Lizzie, 23; Mary, 18; and Amelia, 15; their sons were: Charles, 22; and George,5.

This is somewhat confusing to your information, but a Catherine as mother, and 3 out of 5 kids names match who you are looking for.

I am a descendant of George Fredrick Romoser b.1800 Wurtemburg, Germany, who with two brothers came to America as young men. The brothers stayed on the east coast and George headed west and settled in Marion County, Ohio. George is buried near Prospect. His wife, Sophia also was born in Wurtemburg and made the journey with him. The 1880 census shows her as being widowed (47yrs) and living with their daughter, Elizabeth Kraner.

George Fredrick and Sophia had the following children all born in Marion County, Pleasant Township. Carl Fredrick, Christian, John, Dana, Elizabeth (Kraner), Magdalina (Rousch)and Mary. From this family, Carl Fredrick Romoser is my GG Grandfather. A great aunt of mine, now deceased, was a great family historian and story teller, some of which I have written down. However there has also been much research done as well. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
