Just a follow up email to see if you have had any luck with finding any clues of where you family began . I have had some success with familysearch.org, I was able to search church records back in 1829. The LDS church has done alot of reserch and documentation for there personal gain, however, this has providede us the resources to find our ancestors. With thier help I was able to search our grandafather on my mother side all the way back to 80AD to my ancestor Godwulf.

Good luck to you and please share your stories
