I have Anna Susanna Rominger, daughter of Michael Rominger and Anna Maria Fischel being born March 31st, 1798 in Friedland, Forsythe County, North Carolina. This is the area that eventually became Winston-Salem. She married Johann Schorr 1799-1872. Anna Susannah died 1888, most likely in Bartholomew County Indiana, near Hope Indiana. Johann and Susannah were living there in the 1870 census, and in 1880 Susannah was living in the same area with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Matthias Sowers. The only other information I have is a son, named Jonathan Washington Schorr, born 1823, married Anna Reed. Hope Indiana was the area where a large group of Romingers and other families of the Friedland NC settlement left about 1832 and moved to what is now Hope Indiana to start a new Moravian settlement. My wife is a Rominger, and her grandparents were from there. Anna Rominger Schorr and her husband are probably buried in the Moravian cemetery there. My wife is descended from Michael and Anna Fischel Rominger also, through their son Benjamin Rominger who married Elizabeth Schorr, the sister of Johann Schorr.
