Mr. Avance,

Your information sounds very promising. I have been trying, myself, to locate Charlie Romaines in TX. Hoping that I would find my grandmother's uncle near by. From the obit of Nova/Nora, Charilie (her father) was not living in 1950. I understand Nova/Nora moved (I assume with her parents....maybe a husband) to Gray's Prairie Community in Kaufman Co., TX when she was a "young girl".....not knowing if this meant pre-teens or early teens...or, even younger...and, was raised up there. I have searched the 1920 Kaufman Co. census. And, did not find them. He might have died while she was young.

But, I would be interested in information you may have on Charlie. It may help to locate them in TX. Other surnames associated with him may help, also.

I will be more than happy to share any information I have, or obtain to help you in your search, also.

Feel free to contact me at my email address.

Thank you, so much, for your reply.

Shirley
