I'm looking for Maria Eduvigen (or Eduviges) Romero born about Mar 1858 in New Mexico. According to Our Lady of Guadalupe records of marriages, she married Jose Manuel Martinez on 23 Jan 1876 in Taos, NM. The church records also show her mother's name was Maria Natividad Romero. My husbands mother, Ursula Martinez, is the child of this couple. I'm really stuck going back beyond Eduvigen's birth of 1858. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
