Be sure you have the right Henry. There is misinformation out there about Jacob's son Henry. There was a DAR application which identified the wrong Henry Romer as the son of Jacob (although Jacob did have a son named Henry 1755-1832). This has found it's way on to several web pages.
There is another Henry Romer (1751-1830) who was also in the Revolution. His wife was Mary Jennings.
