My husband's family comes from Michigan: Peter Milo Romans mrd Harriet Ruth Woodward - they had 9 children - one was Peter Romans born about mid-1830's we think. There is no information in the family history of what happened to him. Could this be your Peter? His other brothers were: Squire Peter Edward H.
