I have been doing my family history for over a year and have found it very interesting. The Mihalcean name is very interesting in that there are three different families in the Alberta area that may or may not be related. However being the eternal optimist I think if you went back a couple or more generations you may find a connection. My own family has spelled it Mihalcheon/Mehalcheon/Mihalcian/Mihalcean. I do not have any passports or immigration papers (further work). Could you give me a little more background on your family and where they immigrated to and where they eventually lived.
