Thanks for getting back to me. The Alvina and Louis you used to visit were my aunt and uncle and of course their son is my cousin Jackie who is living in Chile these days. I just got an email from him saying that his mother died on August 13th in Chilliwack, BC. Jack had been living between BC and Chile for a number of years and last fall opted to remain in Chile year round. You had mentioned in your earlier message about the Mihalcheons. In the book I mentioned previously, "Never Far From Eagle Tail Hill," there are brief histories of George and Pachitsa Mihalcheon, Gheorghes M. and Marine Mihalcheon, Peter and Maria Mihalcheon, and Zaharie and Domnica Mihalcheon. I began this family history project about two years ago, but am managing to gather important information bit by bit. I am 54 and an an editor with the Associated Press (the world's largest newsgathering agency).
