Steve
I live in Edmonton and certainly remember the Feica name. As a child my family would visit Louis and Elvina who had a son Jackie. I will ask my father about them. My father George Shuhany is 90 and still very active a fund of knowledge about Boian, Alberta. I have also spoken to people who have visited Boian Bucovina. The Canadian Romanian Society of Alberta is a Edmonton based organization - will try to get you more info.
I did locate an Elizabeth Shuhany in Sudbury MA who is a retired College Prof. she also has a brither who is retired. Her farther immigrated to Canada from Boian about the same time as my grandfather Toader Shuhany. No info as to relationship but I think they must be cousins. Incidentally I am 55 years old and am an investment banker.
Cheers for now!
Dick
