Danielle---Thanks so much for contacting me. I've had a lot of difficulty searching the surname, Seretean, which is believed to have been taken from the town Siret---hence, my question about the town because the Sereteans' ancestors came from Dorohoi and the area of Siret. The Sereteans came to America in the early 1900s and settled in N.Y. I'm also searching the surname Cohen b/c a Rebecca Cohen married a Seretean. You can contact me at my e-mail address if you like--rpatte3931@aol.com---or if you have any info. Thanks. Ruby
