I'm looking for GEHL (or GELB from Alsace Lorraine) and BEITZ (or PEITZ Bulgarian) ancestors from Csatad/Cetad/Tschatad, Austria-Hungary now called Lenauheim, Romania. The family moved from here to Bardarski-geran, Mikhaylovgrad, Bulgarian (near Pleven) around 1896 and then to Hodgeville and Disley, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1908.
Peter Henry GEHL and his wife, Barbara nee BEITZ or PEITZ were both born in Csatad around 1850 and their children were:
Nancy, Mathias, Margaret, John, Katie(Mrs.Jacob FOCHT), and Susie(Mrs. Nick FOCHT) were born in Gyertyamos, Austria-Hungary now called Carpinis or Gertianosch, Romania.
Theresa(Mrs. Wallace PULLIN) was born in Denta, Romania.
Peter and Nick were born in Bardarski-geran, Bulgaria.
Any replies would be appreciated. Thank you.
