Thomas or Josef Christian 1850 in Romania (or Hungary, Austria)

Looking for information about a Thomas or Josef Christian,
who lived in or around Perjamos, Hungary (Austria?, Romania?) Born c. 1850, he was a veterinarian. The family story is that he went out on a call to tend to a sick horse, contracted something (pneumonia?) and died. This was supposedly about 1886. He left his wife, Anna and 4 children. The childrens names I have are: Betty, Thomas, Josef and Louisa. A fifth child was born after his death.
Its possible his wife, Anna, remarried a man whose last name was Voker (or something similar?) Josef and Louisa are known to have sailed to the US in the early 1900's. Louise spent her early years in the convent in Perjamos (after her fathers death).
