Hello,
I am trying to find records for my family who are Transylvanian Saxons from Romania. My great-grandfather, George Vogelhuber was born 5/4/1889 in Grossau. He died in the U.S. n 1943. He was married to Mary Bartesch, born 9/9/1895 in Grossau, died in the U.S. in 1891. Her mother was also Mary Bartesch, unknow maiden name, born in 1853. I am trying to find any information on their parents/grandparents etc. and do not know where to look. I am also trying to find information on Katherine (Katharina) Benning born 5/12/1906 in Romania (Transylvania). She came to the U.S. 9/10/1923. Her port of departure was Breman and its says her last place of residence is Valdhutten, Roumania. He father is either named Fred or Michael and her mother is Katherine Hartman. I have no information on them. She was married to Andrew F. Kekel, unknow where or when. I have no information on him either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!,
Heather
