If your research is still actual, most certenly you are looking for GAINARU family from LASCUD, county MURES, district TRANSILVANIA, Romania; there were many from this village left in US from 1905-1910,many left from FIUME port, now in Croatia, with boat Ultonia or Carpathia, many established in Alliance, Canton, Ohio; most of them returned home in Romania after 1920 to buy land and live home with family left here; if you want to know more about same history of those times we can change information; I seek also for same romanians left to US, same are in the record of Ellis Island, same aren't, were lost in records; maybe we can help eachother; hope to hear from you; you can e-mail me bvrena@yahoo.com, Regards, Rena
