Hello,

I post this response to you, because you seem well read on Romanian history. Needless to say, hopefully you may have some insight, or advice, for me. I am trying to research the family of Andrew A. Buta, who I believe was from the village Parau, in Romania. He was born in 1895, and immigrated to the U.S around the year 1914. His siblings names are Rose, Cornelia, and Daniel. I found a file on his sister Rose, and it said that her fathers name was Anonle Buta, and his mother's name was Maria Boafa. However, I havent been able to find any info, while searching for those names. Perhaps, the name Anonle was a typo. Needless to say, if the surname "Buta" sounds familiar, or you have any idea where I may be able to find records from Parau, any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU
