Slight error:
The county name is 'Caras-Severin' but it's capital is 'Resita'.

The town called Drobeta-Turnu-Severin is the capital of Mehedinti. The two counties are located next to each other.

It's name comes from 'Sever' which is a person's name, it seems originating from the Roman emperor 'Septimiu Sever'.
