Dear Judy Gilson:
My maternal Grandparents came from Keisd. I was there in about 1936. My Grandfather, Johan Schwartz, was killed in an industrial accident while my grandmother was enroute with three of the four sisters. They arrived in Cleveland around 1920. The names Grell, Fograschers, and some of the others seem familiar to me from my childhood. Grandmother married a Matt Gergel and lived in Cleveland the rest of her life. Daughters Sara (Miller) and Dorthea worked at a beauty salon in Shaker Heights for many years.
I communicate with a cousin who visits Keisd once in a while. (Roder) and I will dig out some material for you if you are interested.
RFD
