Thank you, she spoke Russian, but I think she was Polish and raised in Romania (or Ruthenia?). My grandma said that she thinks she was adopted when young, but I am unsure of that. She wasn't from Bukovina.
I really thought it was her in the census, because the birth date was around right, as was the language, culture and name. But the immigration date (I found a census in 1911 saying she immigrated in 1910) is wrong, and it states that she is married when she wasn't yet..I think that I will have to give up hope that this is her immigration record, and look elsewhere
