Are you part of the family we are "Supposedly" not related to? Tita and John Niamtu had four children: Helen, Lena, Edward, and Mike Niamtu. Mike Niamtu is my Husband Grandfather. Mike & Ruth Niamtu had four children: John, Michael, Russell, & Shirley Jean. Russell is my husbands father. I have cross-referenced names given to me from family members. Lena married a Catana on Harsen's Island, Mi. Yellow pages.com still had her and her husband listed. I researched further and found comparable relatives still living in Mi. Then the website changed & I couldn't access that info anymore. I wonder if There are two John Niamtu's or if they are the same person? Do any of these names look familiar to you?
