Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Tonya

Their place of birth should be among the US documents that you need to locate. Were they naturalized citizen? Did they have social security numbers? http://ssdi.rootsweb.com. Those 2 documents will have their place of birth.
TITA NIAMTU 12 Oct 1887 Sep 1982 48028 (Harsens Island, Saint Clair, MI)
JOHN NIAMTU 11 Oct 1894 Mar 1974 44906 (Mansfield, Richland, OH) (none specified) 378-09-7190 Michigan
You might want to request each of their SS-5Form from SSDI.
