There were 10 MIHISs that came thru Ellis Island and few have that they are Roumanian. Do you have a place of birth? Did your ancestors considered themselves to be Romanian or Magyar? What language did they speak?
MIHIS can be found in Hungarian's phone book but this is present time. www.magyartelekom.hu/fooldal.vm
Found some MIHIS in Romania's phone book.
