I saw you were born in Romania, and was hoping you may be familar with anyone having any of the last names I mention. I know it's a longshot, but here goes!

My great-grandmother was Cristina Marie. There's confusion on her last name, as she took on different names throughout her life. The spelling may be off on some, but here they are: Prier (married name in Romania?) - Bostina (maiden name?) - Greco - Davis (name she took on in the states) - Creto

When Cristina came to the U.S., she left behind a husband and daughter (Ana 4 yrs old). She was to earn money and send for her family (which she never did). At the time she was pregnant with my grandmother (Mary Sofia), and had her in Stubenville, Ohio. At some point she came to California, and arranged a marriage for my grandmother. Cristina lived the rest of her life in Sacramento.

Ana Lupu/Lupo (married name & Cristina's daughter in Romania) - died 2-13-1979
Gheorge Lupu or Lupo (Ana's son)
Maria (Gheorge's wife)
Geta (Gheorge's daughter), may have been born in 1968

I know Ana worked in some factory and lost 3 fingers on her right hand. Gheorge also worked in a factory. My mom was writing to them in the '70's & '80's. I would like to establish contact with them again.

I hope any of this information rings a bell with someone.

Thank you!
Teri
