This is what I know about my family:
My Great grandparents Joseph and Julia Zvolensky settled in Fayette County PA. Later moved to New Brunswick NJ about 1924. Joseph was born about 1875 died 1943 and Julia was born about 1891 and died 1966.
My grandfather Joseph was born in Fairchance Pa in 1911.
Julia's maiden name was Lapka and she had a sister Susan who came over afterwards.
I have only found them in the 1930 census which shows that their nationality is Magyar and they were from Roumania and came to the US in 1909.
I found some info on the Ellis Island site but am trying to find out if they are the same people.
I wish I knew more but that's is all that I have at this point.
