Yes, it is Romanian - cold be. The spelling is modificated, it spels Cojocaru meaning "Fur Coat Maker" from ,,cojoc" = fur coat, coutry side wearing.
It is also possible the name originate from Hungarian. Translylvania belonged Hungaria, so in this part of Romania one must count with several nations, Romanian, Hungarian etc. In Hungarian the name should spels Koszok (I suppose).
But, while the beginning "C" it must be Romanian.
