I am searching the ROOTS of my Grandmother, Efrosina (ROSE) Zvonetchi. Born 1894 (Zvonetsky,Zvonetskee) OR,if anyone may know this to be translated in Romanian to another Surname please let me know. I've also found this written down in old family notes as Sweeny;Zircon;or Sircon although she always used Zvonetchi. My Grandmother came to Canada in 1912 just before or after her sister Elizabeth. According to my Grandmother she had another sister Veronaka and Elanka and a brother Ivon (Ivonne) and Nistar. All of which remained in Romania. Apparently they all ranged in birthfrom about 1880 to 1895 in Ludi Hor?(spelling) near Chernowitz,Bucovina.I have a later address from Nistar and Ivon very foggy as I can't make out some of the spelling, but it is dated 1962 and it says Horece(a)? - Manastirei 99 Cernauti, Bucovina,Romania. Is this a Monasatery? Does anyone know how I can find out more about this? Also have notes saying my Grandmothers parents came from Tuchuka Village of Saudera, Ukraine or Romania ( Bukovina )I don't know if the spelling is right on any of this. My Grandmothers fathers name was Nestra and her mothers name was Marie Chordmuch (spelling not sure again). If anyone has "any" information on these names or there descendents please let me know.It is greatly appreciated.Sincerely.Marlene
