Ballauer Family of Carpinis (Gyertyamos), Kreis Timisora

Searching for relatives of my father, PETER BALLAUER. Born 27 Jan 1890 in Gyertyamos, Hungary. This town is now called Carpinis and is located in County of Torontal, Romania. Birth Registry indicate fatherís name was STEFAN (ISTOVAN) BALLAUER & his motherís name was ZSUZANNA SCHMITZ. Both are from Gyertyamos. STEFANís(Istovan) father is listed as JOHANN BALLAUER & his motherís name was SUSANNA HEINE. The 1910 & 1920 USA Federal Census of Chicago, IL indicates he immigrated to USA in 1907 and he was 20/30 years old, respectfully. Passenger Lists of Kaiser Wilhelm II states he was from the town of Gyertyamos, Hungary (Now Called Carpinis, Romania) and arrived in NEW YORK on 17 Nov 1907 at the age of 17 with a destination of Cincinnati, OH. He was a piano mover by trade until his injury in 1924. He married my mother, HELEN (MARY ELLEN BURKE) MULDOWNEY, formerly of Gortamarle, County Roscommon, Ireland on 8 Apr 1931 in Chicago, Illinois.
